Sobre as mulheres na política, pode-se dizer que é um grande avanço para a sociedade moderna, o que jamais era admitido num passado recente. No que diz respeito à recusa das brasileiras em votarem para mulheres, é verdade. Tanto é que a legislação eleitoral favorece as candidaturas femininas com a participação de 30% nas legendas partidárias, e nem assim conseguem os partidos completar o número ideal, sempre ficando aquém da exigência legal. A discriminação começa aí, optando as mulheres pelas candidaturas masculinas em sua maioria. – Jairo de Lima Alves
