Primeiro Hotel de Areia do Mundo
O primeiro “hotel” de areia do mundo, localiza-se na praia de Weymouth, em Dorset – sudoeste da Inglaterra – criada por uma empresa local para comemorar o retorno dos turistas ao litoral inglês, pela chegada do verão. Quatro escultores trabalharam por 14 horas diárias durante 7 dias e uma escavadeira foi utilizada para lidar com as mil toneladas de areia usadas na estrutura do hotel.A pernoite no hotel de areia custa £ 10 (R$ 31) e não há banheiros ou telhados.
