CURIOSIDADE IN FRATERNIDADE
O escritor Machado de Assis, fundador e primeiro presidente da Academia Brasileira de Letras em 1897. Dentre tantas honrarias, ele foi agraciado em 1867 por D. Pedro II com a Ordem da Rosa, no grau de cavaleiro. Como se vê, o Imperador foi Iniciado ao Hermetismo Rosacruz, tendo inclusive empreendido viagem ao Egito, berço da civilização, onde teve contato com alguns mistérios.
