A abelha ensina a todos os observadores de plantão que o seu grande prazer é ‘sugar o mel da flor’; porém, o maior prazer da flor é ‘entregar o mel para a abelha’, pois no entendimento da abelha, ‘uma flor é uma fonte de vida’ e, para a flor, ‘uma abelha é uma mensageira de amor’. Para ambas, ‘o dar e o receber’ é uma necessidade, que se transforma em êxtase. Portanto, compete aos humanos imitá-las, visto que ‘sem fala e sem linguagens’, elas cumprem uma sagrada missão em toda a Natureza.
